UAE Green Visa Types
Two main types of UAE Green Visas:
1st Type: Green
Visa for Freelancers and/or self-employed people; this type of
visa is available to freelancers and self-employed persons who have a valid
self-employment allow from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
2nd Type: Green
Visa for Skilled Employees; This type of visa is available to capable staff who meet
up definite criteria, such as a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and
earning a minimum salary of 15,000 AED per month.
Freelancers and/or self-employed people Requirements
Applicants who want to apply for a Green
visa (Freelancers and/or self-employed) must need to submit the following:
A permit
from the Ministry of Human Resources
and Emiratisation for A
freelance/self-employment
Bachelor’s
degree or a specialized diploma proof
Proof of annual income from self-employment for the previous two
years amounting to not less than AED 360,000, or evidence of financial solvency
throughout their stay in the United Arab Emirates.
Green Visa for Skilled Employees Requirements
Applicants who want to apply for a Green
visa, skilled employees must have the following:
Skilled
employees, without a sponsor or company.
Applicants
must be classified in the first,
second, or third occupational level as per the Ministry
of Human Resources and Emiratisation
Having
a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Applicants must have a salary of not less than AED 15,000 per
month.
Compulsory Documents Required from Freelancer/Self-Employed
- A fresh personal photo
- A copy of the valid passport, with a validity of not less than 6 months.
- A self-employed allow from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
Compulsory Documents required from Skilled Employees
- A fresh photo.
- A copy of the valid passport, with a validity of not less than 6 months.
- Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation permit
- An employment agreement if the facility is governmental, semi-governmental, or from free zones.
