Department, Government of KPK has delivered Notification Basic Pay Scales 2022
KPK and Allowances increase and merger of allowances into basic pay. The Govt
of KPK also delivered the Notification of Adhoc Relief Allowance 2022 @ 16% of
basic pay.

According to the Notification, the Govt of KPK granted the following to its employees:
§ Revised Pay Scales 2022 by merger five ad-hoc relief allowances
§ Adhoc relief allowance (ARA-2022) @ 15% of current basic pay of
2017 pay scales
Earlier
this Govt of KPK announced a salary increase in Budget 2022-23 KPK in Budget speech
and now this time Finance Department KPK issued notification. KP Govt
announced 16% ARA while other provincial Govets and Federal governments granted
15% ARA. According to the notification, the KPK employees will get the same
rate of allowance of 15% as Federal and other provinces Govts announced.

The
employees of KPK Govt were also waiting
for the revision of Basic Pay Scales for so many years. Their Basic Pay Scales
were revised in 2017 of KPK. They were supposing to revise the same during
previous years but could not Govt of KPK could not do so. Many KPK employees
retired awaiting the revision of pay scales. Aforesaid employees of KPK had to
face a lot of financial loss in the shape of gratuity/commutation and leave
encashment.
Detail of Fixation of Salary of the KPK Employees in 2022 Scales
According
to the Basic Pay Scale Chart 2022, the basic pay of
the KPK employee will be fixed point to point. Its means here, we shall look at
the current basic pay in 2017 pay scales and just down it there will be the
2022 pay scales. This new pay is a mixture of 2017 pay scales basic pay plus 5
Adhoc relief allowances. Detail is as under:

Detail of annual Increment and Personal Pay
In the Notification, the employees of KPK will also acquire the annual increment as of 1st December of every year. The employees of KPK who are availing of (PP) Personal Pay will also get the pay in revised personal pay also.
