HED Higher Education Department, Govt of the Punjab, circulated a letter dated 15 July 2022 in connection with Issuance of Policy regarding Conveyance Allowance to Non-Teaching & Teaching faculty During Summer Vacation.  The complete details are as under:

I am directed to mention to the subject mentioned above and to enclose herewith an application given by the Principal, Govt. Graduate college, Gojra wherein he has requested for issuance of directions to the DAO, Toba Tek Singh for the payment of conveyance allowance to teaching and non-teaching staff affianced for BS-Classes during summer vacation 2022.

2.            The request of the above mentioned Principal has been scrutinized in the Department and the Competent Authority has directed to issue a policy letter for non-deduction of conveyance allowance for the staff who is joining colleges in the whole of Punjab during summer vacation 2022.

3.    Therefore, I am directed to request you to take essential steps, immediately as per instructions of the competent Authority, under intimation to this department.

This is the right of the educators who are coming to the colleges to teach the BS classes during the summer vacation. In Federal Government, even the teaching and non-teaching faculty who have holidays, get CA during winter/summer holidays.
