The Govt of Pakistan has launched an Interest Free Student Loan Scheme 2022 for students of numerous universities/colleges. Students can get free interest loans for the sessions 2022-21 and 2021-2022 in approved subjects of Post-graduation, M.Phil, graduation, and Ph.D students only.
Criteria for Interest Free Loan Scheme for Student 2022
The such students who have got a minimum of 70% marks in the
last examinations and fulfill the compulsory criteria. And the most important
is students should be financially weak and want to continue their education.
Loan Types
The banks will give the loan facility for the whole duration of
the study for: -
- Schedule Fee (Banks will pay straight to College or University)
- Boarding expenditures without meal charges (Banks will pay directly to College University)
- Procurement of Textbooks — Paid directly to the student only

- Commerce
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- Other Natural Sciences
- Computer Science/Information System and Technology including hardware.
Deadline to Apply for Loan Scheme
Eligible students can apply with all copies of compulsory
documents till the date as under:
July 29th 2022
The banks will process the application and grant a loan on the basis of suitability and availability of funds. Students who deposited on other form and late received application forms banks will reject them. Applicants who don’t fulfill the conditions should not apply. Banks will reject all such applications if they receive them from students. Student Loan Wing or Loan Standing Committee will have the right to reject any application even if the applicants is eligible for the loan.
